These 902-928 MHz, spread-spectrum modules may be connected to a wide variety of serial devices. Any data streamed into one will be transmitted to and streamed out of any other mated radios. They can all be configured with easy-to-use Windows® applications.
In addition, the XL family modules provide a number of advantages over the standard family modules, including:
- A much higher throughput rate
- Blowfish encryption (8 - 448 bit)
- All radio modules are Made in the USA
- A more powerful command language
- An advanced configuration wizard
The two families are not compatible and will not inter-operate.
