2004 Road King with 145 ci s&s motor
« on: Wednesday, April 27, 2011. 06:12:45 PM. »
I just watched Pass Time on the Speed Chanel. This guy had a 2004 Road King with a 145 Ci S&S motor. He claimed it had 200 Hp. The bike ran a 10.91 in the quarter mile. What kind of real power do these motor's have?

I saw the show as well, just not enough tire to get the potential out of the motor!

Back in the late summer the local H-D dealership had one of those dyno shootouts, that I went down to to watch.  There was a guy who had a 145ci S&S Street Glide...fancy paint job and all.  It also had NOS in the saddlebag.  He won the competition with 229 HP on the dyno.

Yeah, but to get enough of the one will cost you most of the other.
