Best solo seat for a 2011 Road King?
« on: Wednesday, September 29, 2010. 03:54:53 PM. »
I'm gonna be picking up a new RK in the next couple/few months.  I sold my 114" 2001 E-Glide.  What's the best solo seat out there for a 2011 FLHR?

BTW, the seat I had on my E-Glide was a Badlander.  Loved that seat and road for 100K miles on that seat.  So, kind of looking for something like the Badlander but a solo version.

I've had two RKs and used a Corbin on mine.  Great seat, but hard/firm and will make ur azz sore after 250-300 miles in a day.  If your trips are no longer or less than that,  it is  a great choice.

I just bought a Mustang seat for my '09 Ultra and like it,  but have not made any long trips to determine how it does over the distance.

I've got an 04 RK Standard and have Mustang Vintage solo and the large passenger pillion (separate).  Much better seat than stock, or the HD Sundowner I replaced the stock with.
If I was doing it over, I would have sprung for the Mustang Vintage solo with the backrest.
