88CI Twin Cam
« on: Friday, June 28, 2013. 04:43:50 PM. »
I've heard some background rumblings that some of the engine builders
with 88CI are modifying the fly wheels, cams and head work are
producing 140HP(+/-).
Am I being fed a line of S%&t or do any have any information
on who and contact info.
I would appreciate your in put.

Some are north of 200+HP.  If you have $$$ anything is possible.  I'm a tad north of 150
If you have to stop and think about if it is right or wrong, Assume it is wrong.

At 88" I would think you would have to put it under "pressure" to get 140hp :nix:     Coff 06

To get my numbers I went to 120" so my build may not be addressing getting those numbers out of a 88".  You would need a lot of squeeze.  May want to talk to Drago's for a blower set-up if you want to stick to 88".

Not out of an 88CI engine. :nix:  Maybe with turbo, supercharger or NOS.

1.6 HP per CI is what you get from Harley race or Horsepower Shootout motors but nothing you would want to run touring or as a daily rider.
