(1/9) > >>

BUBBIE:
I would like to hear a little about the HD wheel bearing short falls. I would take advice given here.
You guys will know...

I'd like to go SKF 6205 2RSJEM (US made) Any Vendors here sell them? and how much a piece?

Called the local HD shop and their part number for HD's 9276A.. $21.95.. Wonder IF the "A" means change has been made or a new vendor?

never know about the "A" Would they Last longer than the Woes I hear about them... I have 45,000 on the clock, 09 FLHR.

Thanks

Modified to say: Maybe the "A" means they put Grease into them :hyst:

Billy:
Most all of the problems I have seen with wheel bearings of any manufacturer has been the center spacer was sized wrong, usually too short.

SKF may very well be the vendor for HD.

FSG:
The 9276 from HD is junk, lots have failed on the '09, '10 and '11 right front wheel bearing on ABS touring bikes have issues. The '12's have the new "A" bearing and it's OK.

The "A" means a revision has been made to the part and that revision could simply be a vendor change.

Use the 9276A or one of the below if you have a Bearing House you prefer to use.

SKF 6205-2RS
All Balls 41-6205
NACHI 6205 2NSE
Timken 205PP

Thanks for your replies so far...

(hear-say) The HD is made in china and a lot of problem, no grease in some?

(hear-say) The SKF is a US product (still) that in it's self Might be a Bonus..

I would like to hear of a vendor here that sells the SKF bearings. I'd rather go with them,,, and order them here.
