Sounded Like Something Broke???

I heard a sound while I was riding. It sounded like a bolt breaking off ( LOUD ). I looked back expecting to see parts on the road. The bike was fully loaded, maybe a little overweight. I checked the shock mounts, frame, and anything else that I could think off.
The bike still feels fine under all conditions. Maybe the Sundowner bucket buckled under the weight of my BFA and the weight of the FC I was hauling? Any ideas would be welcome.

What year bike :scratch: the early ones (FL's) 3/4 axle , had a problem with cracked SW's. :nix:

Definetly not a backfire. The bike is a 2010 Ultra with 20 k miles. The noise sounded serious. Like an axle braking or a shock mount breaking off the frame. Maybe something internal on the rear shocks?

That's a tuff one, sound like some exploratory surgery is in order. Sorry I cant help ya here, just to many things to address.
