That line always cracks me up and you should see how pissed my wife gets when she hears me say it. That's probably why it cracks me up.  It just seems to come out immediately after any home repair around here.

thanks 76........i had one of the broken fins and TRIED to fix that.....didn't go so well as i forgot to turn down the amperage........broken fins just adds to the personality of the Witch of mine.

oh hell Paul.......there's folks on this and a few other forums that know we know each other from another place....we just don't come here too often....some don't know. for those that don't know Lupe..............well

he's a brilliant man that's built lots of stuff.......and Harley motors are an obsession.........loves to talk and trade mechanical ideas....theories and philosophies...........and he's my brother......just takes a bit to learn to read him.

thanks Pauly, but i'm not a sleeper.........just a good student and asker of questions.........so far i'm a few up on the guys that were willing to take my money and do work for me.........and i had to learn what they screwed up and how to fix it.......and "Nightmare" was the ultimate subject for a crash course in mechanical trama diaognosis.......many.......many people LEARNED from that experience. i haven't held a tig torch since i came home......and that was almost 4 years ago......not good welding at all, but it will serve it's purpose.

i just like to ride 'em..............for EVERYTHING they're capable of...........but it seems that fixing and updating these dynosaurs is really my favorite hobbie......of late.....

maybe we'll have a long winded thread here, i need valve seals next.......well, i don't really NEED them.

after a little grind work i got the rear head at 121cc's and the front to 123cc's...........close enough for this science experiment.
